- Documentation for WAITASEC.COM
-
- WAITASEC was published in PC Magazine and was written by
- Charles Petzold.
-
- WAITASEC uses the Scroll Lock key to stop screen
- scolling. Simply hold the Scroll Lock key down to stop
- the scroll and release it to resume. Much more
- convenient then the Ctrl-NumLock combination. Also,
- WAITASEC will recall text that has already scrolled off
- the top of your screen - up to 375 80-column lines.
-
- To recall text hold the Scroll Lock key down and use the
- cursor pad keys. The up/down arrow keys move text one
- line at a time. The PgUp, PgDn, Home and End keys do
- just what you would expect - scroll through your text
- one page at a time and go to the top or bottom of the
- text buffer.
-
- This file is in my autoexec.bat file. I have been using
- it for about 3 months now and don't know what I would do
- without it. It sure saves a lot a duplicate commands to
- see something that scrolled off the screen while I was
- checking to see what the dog was destroying this time.
